  Jane Elizabeth Meredith was born sometime around 1854-1858 depending on which census record was accurate. According to available information she married Joseph Henry Meredith the son of James Meredith (b. 1817), a distant cousin from another branch of the Sligo Meredith family, on 24th February, 1890, at Castine, Maine.i She died shortly after on 15th April, 1891. ii
